Lehr Ti Valley Ranch set for August auction; features multiple pastures, ponds, creeks and game
MCALESTER, Oklahoma (July 6, 2016) -- Lehr Ti Valley Ranch, an 860-acre property with well fenced pastures, creeks, ponds and abundant game, will be offered at auction Thursday, August 11, with Schrader Real Estate and Auction Company marketing the ranch and managing the event.
"This is a remarkable combination of quality pasture and game-rich recreational land, much of it adjoining the 40,000-acre Choctaw Nation’s Ti Valley Ranch, which has active game management and low hunting pressure," said Brent Wellings, southwest manager for Schrader.
"The ranch, located in Pittsburgh County, has nine pastures for good rotational grazing, with a combination of native and improved pastures, with good exterior fencing and internal cross fencing,” said Wellings.
Tracts range in size from 70 to 160 acres. "People can bid on the entire ranch or on just the tracts that interest them. Taken as a whole, the ranch has nine ponds and a lot of wildlife, including whitetail deer, wild turkey and even quail. A single 160-acre tract directly adjoins the Choctaw Nation’s Ti Valley Ranch and would be especially attractive for recreational buyers," said Wellings.
The auction will begin at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, August 11, at the McAlester Elks Lodge, 3100 Elk Road, McAlester. Auction personnel will be available at the ranch from 9 to 11 a.m. July 14 and August 4.
Online bidding will be available by advance registration. Individuals interested in additional information may visit www.schraderauction.com or call 800-451-2709.
