Farmland in Carroll, Cass counties to be offered in July 1 auction
Approximately 366 acres of productive farmland in Carroll and Cass counties will be offered at auction Monday, July 1, with Schrader Real Estate and Auction Company managing the sale.
The property -- most of it tillable cropland -- will be offered in six tracts ranging from 28 acres to 107 acres.
"These six tracts, with productive soils, are excellent for either operators or investors. Bidders will be able to bid on just the tracts -- or any combination of tracts -- that suit their needs. The land is spread over an area of a couple of miles, with 216 acres in southern Cass County and 150 acres in northern Carroll County," said R.D. Schrader, president of the auction company.
"This land is located right along the new Hoosier Heartland Highway, which represents a major improvement to the area's transportation," said Schrader.
Schrader representatives will be available at the property to guide inspections and provide detailed information from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday, June 10.
The auction will begin at 6 p.m. at Angie's Place, 1007 17th Street, Logansport, Ind.
