SCHRADER AUCTION COMPANY RECOGNIZED FOR INNOVATIVE MARKETING EFFORTS
OVERLAND PARK, KAN., - May 28, 2008 - the National Auctioneers Association (NAA) announced the winners of its 2008 Marketing Competition. The competition drew over 1,300 entries; the most entries ever submitted in the history of the competition. Entries from throughout the United States and other countries, including South Africa and Australia were reviewed by USA TODAY, this year's sponsor.
More than 100 categories make up the annual competition with three divisions: Photography, Advertising/Public Relations and Auction of the Year. Entries were judged by a panel of marketing professionals with backgrounds in photography, design, printing and multi-media. Criteria reviewed included creativity, effectiveness, clarity, visual appeal and more.
Overall Schrader Auction Company received 8 National Awards for the 2008 Marketing Competition including Brochures for Antiques & Collectibles, Farm Machinery & Equipment, and Commercial Real Estate; Catalogs for Farm Real Estate; and Photography in Equipment Auctions and Real Estate Auctions.
All winners will be formally recognized during the NAA's 59th International Auctioneers Conference in Nashville, TN. Winners will receive a plaque, and their winning entries will be displayed for their colleagues to view.
