AUCTION FIRM EARNS 6 STATE AWARDS
DUBLIN, Ohio - Auctioneers from throughout the state of Ohio converged at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Dublin, Ohio January 19-21 for the 2008 Ohio Auctioneers Association Winter Convention. The goal of the convention was to strengthen knowledge and promote higher standards in the auction profession. The Ohio Auctioneer Association now has over 600 members.
As part of the convention, an awards dinner was held to honor winners of the 2007 Auction Marketing Competition. Auctioneers throughout the state were recognized for their innovation and expertise in marketing their properties. All entries were judged by a panel of experienced graphic design, printing and publication specialists. Judging criteria included creativity, innovation and marketing impact.
Winners were named in 15 categories including brochure design, website design, photography, and best of show. Out of all the entries submitted, Schrader won the most awards of any auction company.
Kevin Wendt, CAI, Auctioneer - Dublin Ohio and Nick Cummings CAI, Auctioneer - Washington Court House, Ohio were the winners of the awards. The Schrader Real Estate and Auction Company promotional Video won Best of Show. Overall, Schrader took home 6 out of the 15 awards including: Farm Agriculture Chattels, Farm Agriculture Real Estate, Promotional Video, In Office Produced Advertising, Chattel Property and Best of Show.
